Pharmacist in Arizona
A license is necessary to practice pharmacy in the state of Arizona.
Requirements include:
- Must pass the NAPLEX
- Must pass the MPJE
- 1500 internship hours
- Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- 2 character vouchers for good moral character
- No criminal record
- Proof of legal US residency
Application also requires:
- $50 fee
Foreign graduates and non-US citizen have additional requirements:
- Must pass FPGEE
- Must pass TOEFL
Arizona also allows licensure by reciprocity. Requires $300 fee.
To maintain a pharmacist license in Arizona, pharmacists need 30 CE (continuing education) credits every 2 years. Three of the credits need to be pharmacy law education.
